- Large-Scale Components: The oversized penstocks and stop logs flood barriers, measuring up to 4.45 x 2.10 meters, required specialised transportation and handling.
- Restricted Access and Operational Constraints: Installation was limited by specific site access points and strict operation schedules, demanding a rapid, efficient installation approach.
- Structural and Environmental Considerations: Components needed to withstand high pressure, low temperatures, and high humidity levels, while the existing concrete structures required adapted fixation solutions.
These constraints required a robust, custom-engineered solution that could be quickly installed and integrated with the city’s updated water system.
